Rabat, Tuesday, September 29, 2026 – TAMWILCOM’s Board of Directors met on Tuesday, September 29, in Rabat. The meeting notably reviewed the institution’s activities for the first half of 2026, as well as its financial results as of the end of June. It was also devoted to approving the budget for the 2027 financial year.
The indicators recorded at the end of June show that MAD 23.9 billion in financing was mobilised through TAMWILCOM’s intervention, corresponding to MAD 14.7 billion in commitments and supporting more than 31,500 credit transactions. Businesses accounted for the largest share of beneficiaries, with nearly 26,000 transactions. These results reflect the institution’s contribution to improving access to financing, in line with the strategic roadmap set out in its JOSSOUR 2030 plan.
TAMWILCOM’s guarantee activity for private-sector businesses, which lies at the heart of its core mandate, helped mobilise nearly MAD 20 billion in loans during the first half of 2026. Commitments under this activity amounted to MAD 11.5 billion.
Very small enterprises (VSEs) and microenterprises represent a significant part of this support. Through the Damane Express programme, more than 20,000 loans were guaranteed, representing a total loan volume of MAD 2.7 billion.
Financing for SMEs also remains a key priority. The Damane Atassyir scheme, designed to guarantee working capital loans, enabled MAD 14.5 billion in financing to be mobilised over the period. The corresponding commitments amounted to MAD 7.9 billion. Business investment financing was, in turn, supported through Damane Istitmar, which covered MAD 2.4 billion in loans, backed by MAD 1.3 billion in commitments.
TAMWILCOM also continued to support Public Establishments and Enterprises by providing guarantees for financing instruments raised from domestic and international lenders, with commitments amounting to MAD 2 billion in the first half of the year.
The activities of DAAMA TAMWIL, TAMWILCOM’s participatory finance window, also maintained strong momentum, with financing exceeding MAD 400 million for businesses, representing a 72% increase compared with the first half of 2025.
From a financial standpoint, the Board of Directors reviewed the financial statements as of June 30, 2026. TAMWILCOM’s overall activity during the first half of the year generated net banking income of MAD 413 million and net profit of MAD 198 million.
