For more than seventy years, Tamwilcom has played a distinctive role in Morocco’s financial landscape. Over time, this evolution has shaped a strong institutional identity, rooted in experience and focused on the future.

Key Milestones in Our Story

A journey shaped by strategic transformation :

  • Establishment of the Caisse Centrale de Garantie (CCG)

    1949

Established by Dahir on 4 July 1949, the Caisse Centrale de Garantie (CCG) was created with a clear mandate: to serve as a public catalyst for investment by facilitating the financing of strategic projects through public guarantee mechanisms. This first milestone marked the beginning of an ambitious and enduring journey.

  • Institutional Reform and a Strengthened Role

    1996

A decisive reform established CCG as a key public instrument for socio-economic development. • Strengthened Support for VSMEs

    2009

The overhaul of the National Guarantee System directly addressed the growing needs of VSMEs, opening new opportunities for entrepreneurship in Morocco. This turning point reaffirmed CCG’s commitment to supporting the local economy.

  • Regional Expansion and Stronger Local Presence

    2010

The establishment of CCG’s first regional business centres marked a strategic shift toward greater proximity with banking partners and businesses. This initiative helped improve service quality, accelerate application processing, and strengthen the institution’s regional presence.
